Submitting Your Signature

You can submit a signature in support of a political party’s candidacy on this page. You must be registered to vote in Scottish Parliament elections in order to submit a signature, and you can only submit one signature in support of one party for the 2031 Scottish Parliament Election.

If you are not registered to vote, you can do so here on the GOV.UK website. If you are unsure about your voter registration status, or whether a previously submitted signature was accepted, please contact your local electoral registration department directly. (But don’t actually, because this is not a real website!)

If the party you wish to submit a signature for is not listed on this page, it may already be registered to nominate candidates. This includes any party which won MSPs at the 2026 Scottish Parliament Election, which are automatically entitled to nominate candidates. A full list of successfully registered parties is available on this page. If the party you are looking for is not listed either there or on this page, it is not seeking signatures in your area.
